Dental PPO

The Met Life Dental PPO lets you visit any licensed dentist in or out of our Preferred Provider network – the choice is yours.

• Met Life Dental PPO covers most preventive procedures at a reasonable cost, or at no cost to you.
• Your out-of-pocket costs are lower when you visit an in-network dentist.
• You don't have to file a claim form when you visit an in-network dentist. You don't need a referral to see a specialist.
• All network dentists complete a credentialing process and participate in a Quality Management Program. 
• Met Life recredentials each network dentist periodically and survey members to measure customer service and quality levels.

 Dental HMO

The CIGNA Dental HMO offers the same quality of care as the PPO but at a more economical price. As with all Dental HMOs, you must choose a primary care dentist to be your point of contact for your dental related issues. Availability

The Dental HMO is not available to you if you reside in the states of AK, HI, ME, MT, NV, NH, NM, ND, PR, RI, SD, VI, VT, WV and WY. You should verify if your dentist is an HMO provider, you may do so by going to the CIGNA Provider Directory to search for providers.
